Smallville is an American science fiction/fantasy television series that debuted on the WB Network in October 2001, focusing on the adventures of Clark Kent as a teenager in Smallville, Kansas. Creators Gough and Millar emphasized that the show wasn't going to be about Superboy, and often repeated its motto of "No flights, no tights." Instead, Smallville departed from much of DC Comics canon, kept Clark firmly on the ground (mostly) and introduced him to Lex Luthor, the son of a ruthless businessman, Lionel Luthor. As Clark gained more powers, Lex would become his best friend and biggest problem. Clark's other friends include Lana Lang, Chloe Sullivan, Pete Ross, and later Lois Lane and Oliver Queen, the Green Arrow.

Smallville was a lot of people's first slash fandom. SVMadelyn remembers: "Smallville was my first slash fandom. I'd actually never - uh, thought about slash? Ever? I wrote wrestling and soap opera fanfiction up to that point. Until that one fateful summer night when I was flipping through channels, and it was a ridic hoyay moment of legend during Hourglass. And I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I literally googled 'are clark kent and lex luthor gay!?'? A link came up to Jenn's A Handful of Dust, and it was the first slash story I ever read and I was all: WHAT IS HAPPENING WHAT IS - WHAT IS GOING ON. I remember I kept having to get up and take dancing breaks because I was feeling too many EMOTIONS about Superman and Lex Luthor. Then I think I lurked for a year on TWoP. and finally mustered up my courage enough to get a LJ." [1]

Futurefic is one of the most common types of SV fanfiction, extrapolating the more famous Superman canon from the backstory presented in Smallville. Some fan writers will use specific Superman canon elements from DC Comics, the JLU cartoon, or (less commonly) the movies. Others create their own pastiche futures, based on the basic Superman mythology but eschewing the particulars from any one canon. Later events in the show rendered many of these fanfiction futures uncanonical, but as most of these events are also contradictory to the other Superman canons, most fans don't particularly care.

Introduced in the first-season episode "Stray," Warrior Angel was a fictional comic book series that Lex collected.[5] It featured a bald hero and his nemesis, Devilicus, who used to be best friends. Some fan writers embraced the fictional comic book and used it in their Smallville fanfic, while others started to write fic for Warrior Angel itself. Zahra was possibly the most prolific of these authors, writing fics that featured Warrior Angel as well as fics based on what little canon there was for it.[6]

This site is all about fan fiction that i've created based on the CW's Smallville. Some new characters that I created will interact with current or former Superman characters. You'll find no adult fan fic or slash here. This site is for Smallville and Superman traditionalists. You'll find CLois, Clana, and Kara the Supergirl fics within this site. Enjoy. Clark Kent (born as Kal-El) is the superhero known as Superman, a super-powered alien who hails from the now-destroyed planet of Krypton. He was raised in Smallville, Kansas up until his early adult years, when he moved to Metropolis. Oliver Queen, Chloe Sullivan, and their unnamed son are his extended family.

Superman & Lois, on the other hand, proves simplicity is the best option. It instead takes an adult approach with Clark leaving Smallville as a teen, then returning in his 20s after being mentored by Jor-El. He finally knows his destiny and wants Lana to be part of it, but when he approaches her at the cinema, she's blindsided and kissed by Kyle.

Clark Kent, aka Superman, is Earth's greatest hero and the main protagonist of Smallville. Hailing from the planet Krypton, Clark is a super-powered alien who was raised in Smallville, Kansas. He resided there until his early adult years, when he moved to Metropolis.

Jon Robinson has liked Batman for a very long time. So much so, that as an adult, he dresses liked the Caped Crusader when attending comic cons (comic conventions). But he doesn?t stop at that pop culture icon.

?I dress as a lot of different characters, from Joker, Riddler, Iron Man, Storm?trooper, Jor-El and of course Batman,? Robinson said. ?Batman is very well known. (I?ve) always been a fan of him in comics and movies since I was a kid ? never grew out of it. Kids are usually more excited to see Batman in person (adults as well). With my son being Kal-El, we make a good team.?

Tickets are $17 for adults for an advance two-day pass; $12 for senior citizens for an advance two-day pass; $8 for an advance two-day pass for youth ages 7-15; and free for children 6 and younger. There is a limit of two free children per one paid adult.

The story behind the Smallville Comic-Con started when Chris Wietrick, Ben Eisiminger and KC McNeely initiated a campaign to have Hutchinson recognized as the official Smallville, Kansas, after noticing parallels between Hutchinson and the fictional boyhood home of Superman, according to smallvillecomiccon.com.

?Somewhat overwhelmed by the Hutchinson community?s interest in Superman, Smallville and comic books in general, Jon was then struck with the thought this interest may be great enough to support a local comic con,? www.smallvillecomiccon.com stated. ?A comic con is a fan convention which brings together celebrities, artists, writers and vendors with a focus on all things comic book and pop culture.?

Vendors will be there to sell a variety of things, such as jewelry, chain maille, new and used vintage comics, collectibles, toys, costumes, artwork, anim?, hand-crafted specialty items and clothing. Vendors usually are versed in pop culture, such as science fiction, all the comics and Dr. Who. About 100 vendors, artists and creators will be attending this year. 2ff7e9595c
